課程目標 |
Organic agriculture, with its potential to contribute to environmental protection and rural development, is growing fast in Taiwan, both in terms of the production base and the market. The prospects are for continued growth to more than 20% of Taiwan agriculture by 2010, creating plenty of job opportunities in this sector.
This course covers all areas of organic farming and is designed to provide the necessary skills and knowledge to plan and manage an organic farm. The Diploma consists of 10 units covering all aspects of organic farming. Students will also be required to carry out practical and assessment activities on their own or other properties. Work experience at local organic farms can be arranged for students.Employment opportunities are available in a range of organic agriculture areas as well as traditional agriculture.

修課注意事項：
1.上課時間：寒假、暑假學校考完試後第三天開始(以學校行事曆為依據)，每梯次上課時間為10天。
第一梯次：（97.01.21，14:00報到，97.01.31，14:00結業）
第二梯次：（97.06.23，14:00報到，97.07.03，14:00結業）
2.上課地點：苗栗縣通霄鎮城南有機農場
3 .所需經費如下：
(1) 參加同學到城南有機農場報到─交通費自行負責。
(2) 實習期間住宿、伙食費與材料費，經城南有機農場部分補貼，尚不足部分由同學自行負擔：
每人每天600元，10天，團體保險110元（保額100萬/11天），共計6,110元。
4.學生欲選修本課程須填寫”國立臺灣大學農藝學系校外實習申請表”。
